Engraved text on the work:
Jesus:

If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.

M. Kelleher:
Tender strength all around me -- the absurd, the goofy, the
sad, the really sad, the interesting, the wonderful, the stuff that makes me feel like shit, the stuff that brings tears to my eyes, the stuff that scares me, the stuff that makes me feel good, the stuff that just is -- to be brought up and out.

John Lee Hooker:
I was laying down one night and I heard momma and poppa talking. I heard poppa tell momma "Let that boy boogie woogie. It’s in him and it got to come out.” And I felt so good.

Artist’s note: Jesus Christ, M. Kelleher, and John Lee Hooker explain the importance of getting it up and out the spirit, the thoughts, the oomph, the soul of being alive. (See Note Board)
